How Soto Electrical Services, LLC handles the information you send us through this website or by phone.

What we collect

When you submit the quote form we collect the name, company, phone number, email address, site location and project description you type into it. When you call, we keep the number you called from and notes about what you asked for. We do not collect payment details through this website.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, arrange a site visit, prepare a quote and carry out work you engage us for. We also keep records of jobs we have quoted and completed, because a contractor is expected to be able to produce them.

How we contact you

If you give us a phone number we may call or text you about your project. If you give us an email address we may email you about it. Message and data rates may apply to text messages, depending on your carrier and plan.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked for them. You can tell us to stop contacting you at any time by replying to a message or calling (623) 320-9268, and we will act on that without argument.

Text messages and your mobile number

We only text people who have asked us to. Our forms carry two separate checkboxes, both unchecked until you check them and neither required to submit the form. The first covers messages about your own enquiry, such as arranging a site visit or following up a quote. The second, which is entirely optional, covers occasional offers and service reminders. Neither is a condition of buying anything from us.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier and plan. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them, or HELP to get our name and contact details. We also accept STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END and QUIT, and we action them straight away.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party for any purpose.

Who else sees it

The people who need it to do the work. That means our own crew, and service providers who operate the systems this business runs on such as our website host and our client management platform. Those providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How we protect your information

This site is served only over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Enquiries are held in accounts that need a password and are reachable only by the people who run the business and the crew who need them to do the work.

The providers who host this site and hold our enquiry records operate their own physical and technical safeguards and are bound by contract to act only on our instructions. We review who has access when somebody joins or leaves, and we remove access we no longer need.

No system is perfectly secure and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach ever affected your information we would tell you and the relevant authorities as the law requires, rather than quietly hoping you did not notice.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are kept while they might still turn into one, and then removed. Records relating to work we actually carried out are kept for as long as we are required to keep them for tax, licensing, insurance and warranty purposes.

Cookies and analytics

This website is a set of static pages. It does not set advertising cookies and it does not track you across other websites. If we add analytics later, this notice will be updated to say so before it goes live.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Call (623) 320-9268 or write to the address below and we will deal with it.

Children

This is a business-to-business contracting website. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
